Starting Off the New Year Strong!Sample
Brighter than the darkness đŻď¸
When I scurry into my office early in the morning to hear from God and pass His truth on to you through these "Miracles" I have the wonderful opportunity to write, the first thing I do is light my candles. I do this for two reasons: first, to have light, and second, to be comfortable while writing.
As I've been gazing at my candles this morning, I've become aware of one thing. It's such a simple realization, yet it's a truth we so often pass by. In fact, God has made it so simple for us to find our way to Him! He really couldn't make it much easier for us. Here's what the Bible states:
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." (Psalm 119:105, NKJV)
Period. Amen!
- We say, "It is so dark around me." Jesus says, "I want to give you light through My Word."
- We say, "I am exhausted." Jesus says, "I want to renew your strength through My Word."
- We say, "Nothing makes sense anymore." Jesus says, "Look into My Word, and you'll understand."
- We say, "I'm so lonely." Jesus says, "My Word promises that I will be with you always."
- We say, "I don't feel You." Jesus says, "You will find Me in My Word."
What are you searching for today, or what are you needing as you begin this New Year? Whatever it is, you'll find itâŚ" in His Word"!
Yes, His Word, the Bible, is guaranteed to give you what you truly long for deep inside. God wants to use it to give you the light you need for the coming year! :-)
Let's pray together todayâŚ"Jesus, thank You for Your Word. I believe You will use it to work mightily in my life, renew my strength, and turn darkness into light! In Jesus' name, amen."
You are a miracle!
