C.S. Lewis' One Rule for Giving & Generosityਨਮੂਨਾ

“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”
― C.S. Lewis
God has set eternity on our hearts. We are hard-wired to desire something beyond this world. And yet it is so easy to seek satisfaction in the temporal things around us. Only to find each and every time that they don’t truly satisfy.
Let’s pray.
God, help me to seek you and your Kingdom above all else. Help me to better recognize that you have placed me on earth for such a time as this and that I am on a mission and just visiting. Help me to keep an eternal perspective in the midst of the day-to-day tasks that can so quickly inundate my thoughts.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
