God's Not Mad at You, in Fact He Loves You

DAY 7 OF 7

Repeat after me, "I am a new creation in Christ; the things of the past, the old things, no longer live in me."

I repeated this prayer over and over again. I want to tell you that change came overnight; however, I was like the people of Israel, in the desert for 40 years. I have learned that change can be long and painful but can also be less long and painful. The decision is ours. I did not want to forgive; therefore, I prolonged my inner healing. Without forgiveness, it is impossible to heal. We need to understand this. Sometimes, we think we are more important because we are wounded. Although we are important, it does not mean we will not suffer the consequences of not forgiving.

I want blessings for my generation. I do not wish to pass unforgiveness and all that comes with resentment to my children and their children. I would also like to say that this is just about feelings because if I let my emotions get the better of me, we would be here for an eternity looking for excuses and trying to justify why we can remain trapped in sadness and desolation.

I refuse to be just another victim because I am not a victim, and neither are you. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. He was crucified so we might have eternal life. He was resurrected so we might walk in authority. Walk with your head held high and pray to Papa God.

As King David asked, may He create a clean and pure heart. A heart free to love and forgive and be free from all bondage. I challenge you to decide to change today. Jesus can change you, but only if you want to change and let yourself be changed. Renew your mind, soul, and heart, and walk according to the spirit of God.

Day 6

About this Plan

God's Not Mad at You, in Fact He Loves You

Sometimes we blame others, including God, our creator, when we do not understand the situations we go through because we do not find answers to our questions. This plan attempts to clarify doubts and questions such as, "Is there a God?" Why do bad things happen if God is good?
