BEHOLD THE PROMISE

There is a consistent pattern in the Word of God promising His goodness towards humanity. He repeats it from Adam and Eve in the garden, then to Noah after the flood, and to the new covenant believers. And the ‘good’ that He promises is that He will be with us always!

The promises of God are a consistent encouragement of His ultimate character and goodness towards us. When we behold (pay attention to) God’s promises, some wonderful things happen to us at the deepest level of our being.

We are reminded about who is ultimately in charge, we are inspired to get to know the one behind these great promises, and we are emboldened to entrust ourselves to the one who has declared these promises over our lives.

Let’s Pray:

“Father, we thank you that we can behold Your promises over our lives. We thank you that they are backed by your eternal love, power, and goodness. We enter these promises today and say that we receive them in our lives and present circumstances in Jesus’ name. Amen”
