How could I understand?
Philip was a member of the earliest church. He was a part of the fellowship in Jerusalem and was asked by an angel to leave the city. While he was walking, he sat a man from Ethiopia which he got to tell about Christ.
The story teaches us what our most valuable tool is when we try to reach out – the Bible. The Ethiopian man is reading from the prophet Isaiah and the prophecies of the Lords suffering servant. By the power of The Holy Spirit, Philips gets the opportunity to show how the prophet Isaiah is talking about the man who died and rose again in Jerusalem – Jesus Christ.
