Because of Christ: A 5-Day Easter Devotional by the Belonging Co ਨਮੂਨਾ

Promise Keeper
“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” - Romans 8:32
Many years ago, I was believing for a miracle, and I remember praying desperate prayers that felt more like begging prayers to God. My prayers weren’t filled with faith. They were full of hopelessness and despair. Even though I loved God, I’m not sure I completely trusted Him to provide for me in this way. During that prayer time, I felt led to read this scripture in Romans and received a revelation that changed how I prayed from that day on. The Lord showed me that God, our Father gave us the very best He could give in His son so we would be saved. This was the greatest miracle of all. If He were never to give us another thing, He has already given us too much. We, who are undeserving of grace and mercy because of our sin, were made righteous and holy because of the blood of Jesus.
God cannot give us anything higher than salvation, the most magnificent miracle. Being reconciled to himself through the death, burial, and resurrection of His one and only Son is the greatest gift we will ever receive. Therefore, anything else we ask for in faith is possible because He has already given us the ultimate gift in Jesus.
He promised to send His son to die for us so whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Therefore, we can be confident when God gives us a promise in scripture, as He will be faithful to fulfill His promises. He gave us Jesus, so how will He not also, along with him, graciously give us all things.
