MEETING 1: EVERYTHING
WRAP-UP
EVERYTHING IN CHRIST
As long as humankind has been separated from God, we have been searching for fulfillment through performance, seeking approval through perfection, and looking for purpose through pursuits. But we will only find true fulfillment, approval, and purpose through our Creator.
Here’s what to remember about receiving everything in Christ:
You are created. Your life is not random. The most powerful Being that will ever exist created you in His image, which means something.
“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.” — Psalm 139:13–16
You are loved. God created you to have a relationship with Him. Because of His great love for you, He will give you everything you need—including what He already gave through His Son’s sacrifice on the cross.
“Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?” — Romans 8:32
You are chosen. There is more to your life than you can ever imagine. God created you for a specific purpose which is part of a much larger plan that has been in the works since the beginning of time.
“You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.” — John 15:16
As you allow these truths to soak into your heart, the Holy Spirit will begin to cultivate and activate inside of you another powerful truth found in our daily theme verse:
“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.” — Ephesians 1:3
OVERTIME
If you haven’t already committed your heart to Jesus Christ, talk to your group leader or another FCA staff member about making that life-changing decision today.
“But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead.” — Ephesians 2:4-5
About this Plan
When you compete like EVERY game is your last, your purpose for playing changes. You give your all in EVERYthing you have to your sport. But then you remember--Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for EVERYone. In EVERY way of your life, He is with you. EVERY day, He calls you to the highest honor: a relationship with Him. He equips you with EVERY piece of His armor. You ready?
