Day 6 - Dry Bones (miracle worker)
‘The God of the Bible is still the God of today - Travis Greene’
I love what Travis Greene said here, because often we forget that God hasn’t changed; the God of the Bible is still the God of now and he’s still working miracles. I don’t know what your situation looks like or what your mental health or family life looks like, but today, this is a reminder that when God breathes life into your situation it will live again.
A lot of situations I encountered in 2021 made me feel like there was no way out. I felt trapped, especially with my constant struggle with unemployment and financial crisis. One day I stumbled across the scripture that speaks about the valley of dry bones. As I continued to read, God painted a vivid picture of what he did then and how he’s doing the same thing in my life right now. Close your eyes and picture this - God breathing new life and fresh wind onto everything you thought couldn’t be alive again. Imagine them becoming even better than they were before they became dead (Ezekiel 37:1-9).
There’s something about overcoming a situation you never thought you’d see the end of, and knowing it was only God that had the power to bring you out. His resurrecting power is strengthening.
‘These dry bones will rise and praise you’
The line of this song describes our heart posture before, during, and after seeing God's restoring power. We don’t need to wait for him to do it. Because we believe he’s already breathing new life into our situations, our circumstances, and in us, we will continuously rise to praise him (Hebrews 13:5).
Task:
Choose a song of your choice and continuously sing it to God today.
Prayer:
My father, thank you for your restoring power. Thank you because you are a God that never fails and never disappoints. I believe that you are bringing to life every dead situation I am facing. You’re restoring me and you’re strengthening me. Take control.
In Jesus' name, amen.

About this Plan
This plan seeks to unwrap what it truly means to submit to God and what that looks like for us as his children. The bible plan is inspired by Gospel singer, Uchenna’s new EP titled The Art Of Submission. The plan speaks on themes such as faith, trust, and God's love and how each of these plays a part in how we submit to his will for us.
