Dumping the Garbage in Your Lifeਨਮੂਨਾ

The solution to healing from hurt is found in letting go of the difficulties, pains, injustices, disappointments, and all else that has legitimately or illegitimately (through your own fault or through no fault of your own) caused you pain. I know it’s easier to say than to do. But Jesus wants to offer you a place to dock. He wants to give you a place to not only refuel but to release the load you are burdened underneath. We discover how to do that in Matthew 11:25-27.

He begins what He has to say with a prayer: 

“I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight. All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”

God has His own plans for us, and His plans are higher than our own (Isaiah 55:9). In fact, as we see in Jesus’ prayer—God even hides His ways and His thoughts from those who think they are too smart for their own good.
