Reset My Love
Jesus is about to be betrayed. On the night before one of the biggest Jewish celebrations, one of His close followers goes and agrees to betray Him to the religious leaders who want to kill Him.
Yet Jesus doesn’t react with surprise, hurt, or anger. He simply says at the end, “What is written about Me is reaching its fulfillment.”
If you’ve been a Christian for a long time, you probably glaze over this story because you’ve heard it so many times. But today, I want you to pause and think differently about it.
Through the last moment of His life, Jesus’s life was marked by love and service. He knew His follower would betray Him. He knew the rest of them would flee as soon as things got messy. But He still chose to love them like a servant, putting their needs before His own.
A reset life is neither pessimistic nor happy-go-lucky. It’s selfless. Jesus was about to die—but He still put others first. A reset life, more than anything else, is marked by love. Read today’s passage and ask Jesus to reset your love for Him and for others.
