Honestly, what do you think God thinks about you? If you had to guess, what words do you think God would use to describe you? Would the words be things like unimportant, failure, or meh? It's so easy to be critical of ourselves or to project our own opinions or fears about ourselves onto other people. You know, those times when you wonder what your friends or peers are thinking about you? When you assume that they are thinking the worst of you? We do that to God too.
Sometimes we assume God sees the worst in us. While God does know everything about us, good and bad, including the things we think about, the Bible can give us unique insight into how God views us. It says that before we are even born, God thinks we are wonderful, complex, marvelous, important, and noteworthy. Did you know that the Bible mentions the amount of "precious thoughts" God has about you are too many to be numbered?
How do these verses change your understanding of how God views you?
