Shall We Continue To Sin?
“What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?” (Romans 6:1-2 NIV)
You have a choice. Shall you continue to sin that God’s grace, love, and mercy shall abound? God forbid. Sin is a choice. Choose to put off the old man. Choose to let go of the old way of doing things.
Ephesians 4:22 KJV declares, “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;” Put off the former corrupt conversation. Put off the old man, and surrender to the counsel of Christ.
Sin is a choice. Choose to surrender your heart to Christ and let God give you a new heart. Ezekiel 36:26-27 KJV declares, “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”
Walk after the statutes and dictates of Christ. Philippians 3:17 AMPC declares, “Brethren, together follow my example and observe those who live after the pattern we have set for you.” Choose to pattern your life after Christ and follow His example.
