"Yes He Can" Reading Plan by CAINSample
Day 3 - Yes, He Can: Written by Logan Cain
“I can't deny He's come through every single time”
Have you ever found yourself doubting God's faithfulness?
Maybe you've wondered, "Does God actually see me in those dark moments? Does He really understand me and the things I’m going through?"
I mean, He’s God. This is a big world with a lot of problems. Surely He has a lot to focus on besides just the little things happening in my life, right?
If you've ever wrestled with these questions, you're not alone.
But lately, God’s been showing me that the key to having faith isn't looking at my situation. The key to having faith is looking back. (Psalm 77:11-12)
Did God already fulfill His promises to me?
Yes, He has.
Has He been who He says He is in the Bible?
Yes, He is.
Can He turn around any situation in our life for good?
Yes, He can.
We already know from reading scripture that God doesn't change. (Hebrews 13:8)
That means if He was faithful in the past, if He did miraculous things, then He can and He will do it again.
Now, I don't know about you, but I don’t always need a mountain moved or a sea parted.
Sometimes, I just need to know that God is there in the small things. I need reminders that His power is still available, even in our moments of weakness.
If you want to build your faith, this is a great place to start. Trust God with the small things you’re facing today - whether it's a flat tire, a damaged friendship, or a disappointment.
BELIEVE that God is going to do something great. Welcome Him into the little things, by leaning on and memorizing His promises.
I can say from experience that He has come through every time I’ve called out to Him. Even when He didn’t answer the way I wanted Him to, He always did what was best, because that's who He is.
Can God do miracles in the little things in our life?
Yes, He can.
If He’s done it once, you can trust that He will do it again.
Prayer: Thank you God that you never change. Your faithfulness and mercy are always available. Help us lean on You no matter what we're facing. We love you Lord for who You are, what You've done, and all that You will do. Amen.
About this Plan
Come along as we spend three days in the Word, being reminded that God can do anything! Inspired by our song, “Yes He Can” this plan highlights the miracles God did in the Bible, and the everyday miracles He's still doing today. We hope you'll be encouraged and that it will build your faith. Thank you for reading and studying with us! - Taylor, Madison, and Logan (of CAIN)
