Crisis ConvertedSample
Theme: Overabundance
Crisis Converted Then:
As an oppressed people in exile, Israel experienced poverty and lack. But, God will supply all their needs and provide an overabundance. He won’t just provide a little drinking water; he’ll cause deserts to erupt into rivers so vast that forests will emerge in former wastelands. The land of Judah was laid waste by Babylon and chaos reigned, but God promises to re-create the Land of Milk and Honey.
Crisis Converted Now:
In answer to our prayer, God turns his face upon us in blessing. Our needs are met with his great and overabundant generosity. Even when calamity turns our lives into chaos, God can create order and beauty in it. He not only can quench our thirst but he can fill our lives with swimming pools of his favor. Ask him to bring refreshment into your life today.

About this Plan
This study from Isaiah 40-55 explores our identity as people affected by trauma but living in hope. In the exile, God’s nation had to find new life when their old life had been completely overturned and destroyed. Similarly, we now find ourselves trying to “return to normal” in the aftermath of a global pandemic. Yet, God can take any crisis and convert it for his glory and our growth.
