Clothed in Grace: You Are LovedSample
FOR THOSE WHO GRIEVE
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
Revelation 21:4
Heavenly Father,
I pray for my sisters who are struggling with grief. As women, wives, and moms, it’s easy to make lists and get the details taken care of. When others fall apart, we’re a rock because others who depend on us might need us. But he says in Ecclesiastes 3:1-14 that for everything there is a season. There is a season to mourn and weep.
And I ask that my sisters make time to do this. I pray that they weep openly to you, Lord. That they mourn for wayward children, broken marriages, or the death of a loved one. And in their grief and weeping, I pray that they feel your presence, because you’ve said in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen
YOU GO, GIRL
Have you allowed yourself a chance to grieve? It doesn’t matter if it was an event that occurred years ago. Spend time to think about where your pain comes from and write it below.
