Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith Sample
When we look at the cross we are reminded afresh of what a merciful, loving Lord we serve. May we always stand in awe and wonder at the greatness of His ways. Let us not lean on our own understanding, but trust Him with all our hearts (Prov 3:5). May we always remember that all things are from Him, through Him, and to Him, even those that seem dark and hopeless. Our prayer is that He will work these trying times out for good and that He would be glorified among all peoples, in all places, at all times. Let us ask Him to lift our eyes from the storms of life’s circumstances to the unchanging nature of His character and sovereignty. May He help us to find hope in Him and His promises and truths.
Pray for:
• God’s will and purpose to be fulfilled during these days.
• A new understanding of who our Lord is and His ways of working through impossibilities.
• A greater dependence on God’s wisdom and understanding, not our own.
