Time to Change

DAY 3 OF 3

Paul

Today I bring you good news!

I want to talk about Saul of Tarsus, well, Paul. We can find the beginning of his story at the end of chapter 8 of the book of Acts. Saul was a persecutor and executioner of Christians, and was even present at Stephen’s stoning. However, God saw something in him beyond his evil works.

One day, on his way to Damascus, a strong light (which blinded him) surrounded him and he fell to the ground. There Jesus spoke to him, and gave him an opportunity to change his life completely. God sent a man named Ananias to tell Saul what to do, but even this man was surprised. I can imagine him asking, "Lord, but  don’t you know who this guy is? He’s a killer, he’s after us." But God told him that Saul had been chosen as an instrument to carry His message to many places. Later his name was changed to Paul and he wrote 13 of the 27 books of the New Testament.

What does this history teach us? God sees beyond our sins and chooses us. He calls us to change our course to follow His, even when others keep looking at what we were before, and this is what impresses me most in Paul’s story. God could choose anyone else for this work, someone more prepared, holier, in fact, could choose a Christian. However, He decided to work where no one believed He would. This is the wonderful God I love.

Today God also sees you, points to you and asks you to give your life to Him. It's time to change and do great things with God and for God. No matter what others think of you, no matter that you don’t have the support of your friends or family, no matter if you are discriminated against, there's Someone who chose you and all you need to do is change; the Lord will take care of the rest.

I hope that at the end of this plan you won't continue to live like Belshazzar, Ananias or Sapphira. Look at the example of Paul, who was never the same again. You can be a useful instrument for God too. The time is today for your life to be glorious and for letting His plan come true in your life. The Father is waiting for you.

Thank you so much for coming to the end of this plan. I am sure that the changes God asks of us are for our good and that He will make up for everything you think you are losing.

With love, Leslie Ramirez.

Day 2

About this Plan

Time to Change

The only constant thing in our lives is change, yet we seem to be afraid of it. It's impossible to say that we love and know God and, at the same time, staying the same; making the same mistakes and wasting opportunities to improve. In this plan I'll show you three stories of people who had the option to change their lives and what their endings were.
