Say this together: 

When life gets stormy, gloomy, and gray, 

I feel peace trusting God and His good way.

In the Bible, Jesus’s disciples were in the  middle of a real storm. They fought the wind and waves, but couldn’t control their boat. But Jesus is the Son of God, so He is in control of everything. He told the storm to calm down, and it did!

When hard things happen, you might feel like you’re in a storm. You might try really hard to fight that storm and stay strong, but only God is in control. When you trust in Jesus, you don’t have to fight the storm. Jesus fights for us. He might not make the storms stop, but He can bring you peace in the middle of it.
