Celebrate Easterਨਮੂਨਾ

After Jesus died on the cross, He was placed in a tomb. A few days later the two Marys came to the place where He was laid. I’m sure they would have been very sad; they loved Jesus very much and would have missed Him terribly. As they approached the tomb they saw the stone that covered the entrance to the tomb had rolled away and there, sitting on the stone, was an angel. They were afraid! An angel! Jesus missing!

The angel told the women that Jesus is alive, He has risen! That’s why we celebrate. We celebrate because Jesus defeated sin and death and HE HAS RISEN! God loves us so much that He gave us a Saviour, Jesus, who overcame death and is worthy of our praise.
