WAITING

Nobody likes to wait. We want what we want at the time we want it. 

But the secret to enjoy all that God has in store for us is when we wait for God even when He doesn’t seem to reply. 

Psalm 5:3: "Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.”

Waiting expectantly is never easy.  We wait with hope and confidence and joy not because of the wide range of answers God can provide but because we enjoy waiting on God. 

His answers to our requests are secondary. We wait because we know God is all we need. 

Our primary joy is waiting and watching and worshipping Him. 

We wait even when we think we have better ideas. 

We wait even when we think we have to troubleshoot it ourselves. 

We wait and watch God at work.
