Quick Question: Why Do Bad Things Happen?

DAY 2 OF 10

Let’s be honest, trusting someone can be difficult.

If you are like me, there have been people in your life who broke your trust.  Maybe it was a friend or a family member. When someone breaks your trust it can be hard to place your trust in others.

When you go through difficult situations, you might feel like God let you down. You might feel like it's hard to trust him.

This passage reminds us we can trust in God.

When we look at the difficult situations we face, we need to recognize that our understanding of an issue or event is so much smaller than God's.  We need to stop trusting in our way and start trusting that God knows best.

Imagine what would happen if you simply trusted that God will show you the way?  Take time to practice trusting God fully today.

Challenge: Today, we challenge you to think of something you are currently struggling to trust God with.  Write that thing on a piece of paper and stick that paper in your Bible on this passage.  Then, take some time to pray and tell God you are going to fully trust him with that situation.  Leave the paper in your Bible and read this passage to remind you that you can trust God.

Day 1Day 3
