HEARing From God - by Accepting Wise Counsel
This week we’re using the acronym HEAR to talk about four ways to hear from God. The A stands for Accepting Wise Counsel.
Providing business counsel is part of our ministry. Interestingly, many counseling calls come from people who are having trouble getting their spouses to listen to God or to them about their business.
Many pressure their spouses to speak to me. These forced conversations often lead to an idea or insight that helps them determine their next steps for their business.
Proverbs 12:15 teaches, "The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice."
Sometimes God may have trouble getting us to listen to Him individually, or to engage in God’s Word. Accepting wise counsel may be your last chance to hear from God.
