GOD’S MERCY
For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth. (Romans 9:28)
There is an old song whose lyrics are written like this: "Your mercy is more than life... Your mercy is more than life... That my tongue praises You... Your mercy is more than life."
His mercy truly is more than life. It is also a reflection of his great love for us.
Have we ever imagined how precious we are in His eyes? He is writing a beautiful story in us. He has chosen us to receive the inheritance of the Kingdom of God and His promises before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1: 4).
The only way we can enjoy His mercy is through faith. God's salvation will only take place when the hands of God's mercy from above encounter the welcoming hands of our faith from below. God's mercy alone will not mean anything if our faith does not welcome it. Both must meet so that we can get the promise of salvation.
Therefore, Paul said, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10: 9).
If today you are still in sin, do not be afraid to come to Him, for the great mercy of God will always be available to those who believe in Him.
His mercy will have power if we welcome it with faith and trust in Him.
