Blooming Wonderful

DAY 3 OF 7

A Well-Tended Garden

When a man is trying to please God, God makes even his worst enemies to be at peace with him. – Proverbs 16:7, ESV

When you accept that God made you to be blooming wonderful, you will bloom where you are planted, turn your face toward the sun or Son, and shine. Knowing you are made in His image should give you the confidence to take on His identity. Identity is sameness, being like He is in all your words and ways. God is peace-loving and sincere, and He calls for us to treat all people the same. To be courteous, considerate, and gentle is the nature of Christ. He expects us to be impartial and insofar as possible, to live in peace with all men. Generosity of heart and hand pleases God. Compassion is who He is. Contentment in God is great gain. These attitudes and attributes should form part of everyday life. His promise is astounding: He will make even your worst enemies be at peace with you when you choose to live for God. How awesome is that? No more walking around in fear of people and on edge of what might happen. He subdues your enemies and sets a wall of fire around you. God is pleased when He has your heart - all of it.

Furthermore, in all of your blooming, know that you don’t have to waste another moment comparing yourself with others. God has made them a certain way, and He has made you in a unique style. Bloom in your special creation, for this is a wonderful gift to honor your Creator. Consider this Scripture for a moment: “I have given them the glory you gave me—the glorious unity of being one, as we are— I in them and you in me, all being perfected into one—so that the world will know you sent me and will understand that you love them as much as you love me.” – John 17:22-23, TLB

Like a flower in full bloom, you can stand tall and proud in the glory that God has given you. You need never apologize for how God created you.

About this Plan

Blooming Wonderful

When the seeds of goodness and righteousness start to sprout and spring forth in your life, share the joy of your harvest with others. Make everyone you meet feel their uniqueness and let them know they are special to you. Embrace their differences. It is the beauty of the rose and the gardenia and the tulip that make up a beautiful bouquet. Don’t waste your energy comparing yourself to others.
