GOD IN SOCIAL MEDIA

DAY 10 OF 12

Day # 10 - #Humility

Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)

22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [humility][1], and self-control. There is no law against these things!

The word humility automatically leads me to think of Jesus:

• He was God and submitted to the will of the Father.

• He was the Messiah and washed the feet of his disciples.

• He had all the authority to accuse people, but he came to save them.

• He was good and passed the glory of that adjective to the Father.

• He never believed more than anyone, but he valued people, especially those biased by society.

Being humble is not synonymous of being in material poverty, but to know who you are without disclosing it yourself. Jesus knew who he was and although he announced to others that he was the Son of God, he did not boast, but focused on serving before being served, especially to those ignored by society.

If you ask me what humility is for me, I would answer that it is an attitude towards life. To possess humility, it is necessary to know yourself and recognize that what we achieve is not on our own merits, but on those of God who created us. It was God who deposited in us the talents, capacities and purposes, so that today we can achieve what we propose according to his will.

Humility is serving others instead of being served, as Jesus did.

In order for us to properly share God on social media, we need to do it humbly.

✅ Godlist™ for Social Media: Would God publish, share or like this?

• Before liking or sharing someone's post, think: Does that publication promote humility, or gentleness?

• Before publishing a post, evaluate: Does it reflect my humility in Christ to my neighbor or do I sound arrogant?

• Before commenting on a publication, consider: Am I really promoting humility as the fruit of the Holy Spirit?

About this Plan

GOD IN SOCIAL MEDIA

This plan will help you understand that sharing God on social media is a blessing. Its author teaches us how life situations give way to the fruit of the Holy Spirit maturing in each one of us believers, so that we can share God correctly in our private life and also in our social media.
