Think Well, Live WellSample
Think and Live at the Level of God's Thoughts
Have you ever wondered how God thinks? How nice to know that this is not a riddle to be discovered! The answer to this question is found in His Word, in it we see how Jesus lived, walked, loved, accepted and corrected. This is something that should renew our way of thinking.
The apostle Paul, in 1 Corinthians 2, reminds us that we have the mind of Christ. When was the last time you thought like Him? Do you think only as an earthly person or as a child of God?
I love Paul's focus in his letter to the Colossians. He encourages them to put their attention on things above rather than on earthly ones. This is not about living with your head in the clouds, but it reminds us that if we focus on the right thing, our life will flourish.
God's thoughts and His ways are much higher than ours. This does not mean that they are unreachable, but that we are called to raise the level of our thinking to reach them.
I want you to take a moment to think about the people you "don't like". No one may come to mind, or you may have a long list of names.
Now I want you to ask yourself what God thinks about them.
You will soon realize that just as you are loved and called by God, so are they.
It's time to look at others through God's lens, through His thoughts. It's time to think and live on His level.
