DAY 4: SHOUT!

Think About! 

What an amazing victory! This was a battle like no battle before it. It was not won because of a great plan by people, or because of their great weapons. It came with a great shout because God’s people trusted a promise of God. It was like the loudest cheer you might hear at a sporting game when a team wins. 

You might notice that when a team is losing, its fans get really quiet. But when a team is winning, its fans get really loud. They want their team and everyone else to know they are winning. 

This is why a shout is so powerful in our lives. A shout is loud and bold and tells the world and the enemy that we are on God’s winning team. A shout tells our heart that God is for us and reminds us that with Him, we win! A shout declares that God’s promises are true.

What Now?

Practice a victory shout! (OK- maybe let Mum or Dad know you’re going to shout and why…)

Shout out that God loves you; that He protects you. Shout out that you are His child and He has good plans for you. Shout it out even if it is uncomfortable. 

Next time you’re afraid or sad or lonely or something is hard in your life, practice shouting out God’s praise. Remind your heart that with God, you win.
