Epic (Part 4): The Storyline Of The Bibleਨਮੂਨਾ

Two beasts, both given power by Satan, are described here. The first beast uses political power to resist God and the second uses false religion. These beasts can be seen throughout human history, but probably also refer to future leaders who will have incredible power prior to Jesus’ return.
We live in a troubled world with ongoing conflict, much of it justified on the basis of religion. These conflicts come and go, but we never reach the end of them, and they seem to perpetually get worse. These conflicts are evidence that humanity cannot solve its own problems. We not only need Jesus to solve our personal sin problems, but the world needs him as well.

About this Plan

This is final part of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
