Epic (Part 4): The Storyline Of The Bibleਨਮੂਨਾ

The remaining three churches are covered in this chapter. Sardis looks good but isn’t, Philadelphia is doing the best it can in a negative situation, and Laodicea think it’s in good shape but isn’t.
We’d all like to think we are like Philadelphia, but maybe we are self-deceived like Sardis or Laodicea. We need to focus on the basics of living our lives for Jesus and not being distracted by pursuing wealth, reputation, or comfort. We want to be those people who stick it out in hard times or stand out as one who has not soiled their clothes.

About this Plan

This is final part of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
