Book of Joshua

DAY 11 OF 12

ALL WILL COME TO PASS

When I was a young child, my parents used to make a promise that if I got good marks at school or if I behaved well that when I celebrated my birthday I would get presents from them. They always fulfilled their promise. They loved me and they wanted to please me.

It is the same with our God. He  will never deny His promises for God always wants to give the best to us. He will always fulfill the promises He has made to His people through His word. The word of God in Joshua 21:45 NKJV is, “NOT A WORD FAILED of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. ALL came to pass.” What a beautiful statement! God’s promises to the Israelites had come true and finally the Israelites entered and conquered the land of Canaan—the land that was promised to them long ago finally became theirs.

The people of God have to be sure to hold firm to God’s Word, because the Word of God never fails. Why does the Word of God never fail? Because God, who made the promises, is the true God and never lies. God will surely fulfill all His promises. Let’s trust Him and hold firm to His promises to us. Do not ignore His promises even though you have not yet seen or experienced the fulfillment of His promises.

Not a word from God fails. All of God’s Word is true and all His promises shall come to pass.
