Wisdom Will Watch Over You

Today, there is only one Bible passage to read. The last two verses, Proverbs 2:10-11, summarize everything this Bible Plan has been teaching you about wisdom for the past four days. 

“Wise choices will watch over you.” God’s wisdom is for protection and to help you enjoy the life God gave you as much as possible. 

Today’s video is a song that can help you learn Proverbs 2:10-11. This song uses the NLT version. Check it out! (And, if you want to put it on repeat, that’s completely understandable!) 

Ask yourself: What’s one thing I’ve learned about wisdom from reading this Bible Plan?  

Challenge yourself: Grab a bunch of small squares of paper. Write out Proverbs 2:10-11 with only one word on each square. Shuffle the words. Time yourself to see how long it takes you to put them in the right order! (Hint: If you use the NLT version like the song in today’s video, you will need 24 squares of paper.) 

Pray: God, I thank You for teaching me wisdom. Help me always to keep trying to learn more and more about what You say is wise. Thank You for letting Your wisdom grow in me. Thank You for the way Your wisdom watches over me. Help me to follow You in wisdom every day of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
