Who’s Your Counsel?

“Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.” Proverbs‬ ‭11:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Choose to surround yourself with wise and Godly counselors. Hebrews‬ ‭10:24-25‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.” Assemble yourselves with believers. Surround yourself with those who seek after the heart of Christ. 

Revelation‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Overcome your battle by surrounding yourself with those who have weathered the storm. Conquer the storm by surrendering to the Word of God and surrounding yourself with those who have a testimony of victory. 

Psalms‬ ‭119:105‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Let His Word and counsel light your path. Let His Word direct your feet. Let His Word shield your thoughts, ways and actions. Let His Word lead you through the storm. Your counsel is critical. Those who you surround yourself with is critical to your success. 

Wise counsel will help you navigate through rough seasons of life. Wise counsel will help you through the valley. Wise counsel will help you through the desert. Wise counsel will help you through the storm. Seek God’s counsel first and let Christ send you advisors after His own heart.
