God Does Not Tempt ManSample
God Does Not Tempt Man.
“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:” James 1:13 KJV
God cannot be tempted with evil — neither does God tempt man. Let no man say when he is tempted that He’s tempted of God. Temptation does not come from God.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Tempted” is, ‘peirazō’ (G3985) which means, “In a bad sense to test one maliciously, to craftily put to the proof his feelings or judgments, to try or test one's faith, virtue, character by enticement to sin, to solicit to sin, to tempt.” God does not entice you to sin. God does not lead you to sin. Satan lures. The enemy entices.
Satan wants to draw you away from communing and connecting with Christ. Surrender to Christ. James 1:13 AMPC declares, “Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted from God; for God is incapable of being tempted by [what is] evil and He Himself tempts no one.” God is incapable of being tempted by evil. When you surrender to Christ, He will deliver you from the bondage and grip of the enemy. Lust lures and Satan draws away.
Christ does not yoke your heart to sin — Christ came to set you free. Christ breaks bondages and destroys yokes. Christ does not chain your heart to sin. James 1:13 NLT declares, “And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.”
