You can have faith and still have a bad day.

You can believe that God will take care of you and still be fearful.

Being a follower of Christ doesn't mean that you are free from fault. Self-doubt, discouragement, and disappointment are all things that you will experience in life.

Sometimes things don’t go your way.

Sometimes bad things happen to good people.

Sometimes things happen that aren’t fair.

We can’t change it, but we can learn to move on in spite of it. Encouragement and motivation both go hand in hand. They feed off of each other. A motivated individual will be encouraged even in the most chaotic of circumstances. The encouragement that they’ve received from the word of God, from their peers, and from themselves can carry them over mountains. When the world is telling you, “No, you can’t,” all we need is one voice that says, “Yes, you can!”

God is that voice.

At many times in my life have I needed to be encouraged. I’ve been fired from jobs. I’ve been evicted from my home. I’ve had business ventures fail. The power of encouragement, however, can render these things void. From a leadership perspective, encouragement is one of the best things you can do for those who follow you, whether this is within your business or within your home. Encouragement costs nothing but means everything to those that receive it.

If you need encouragement today, then this is it. If you see someone who may need encouragement, don’t hesitate to be that encouraging voice for them.

Be encouraged. Remember that you cannot control what today will bring, but you can control your emotions toward it. Remain encouraged.

God will handle the rest.
