Love God Greatly: EstherSample
No, God is not mentioned in the book of Esther, but His presence is oh, so evident. After the Jews submitted to God through three days of fasting and prayer, Esther entered the inner court of the palace to approach the king. Before she spoke a word, King Ahaserus extended grace toward her unexpected visit, along with words of approval and generosity.
God had clearly gone before her, preparing the way. Esther's beauty and proven character had already won the approval of the king, and her fear of the Lord and time spent in His presence had prepared her for that moment. Even in diligent and obedient preparation, we must remember that it is only God who has the power to move in the heart of the king.
Dear God, Thank you that the accomplishment of Your will ultimately rests in Your hands alone. Go before us, great God, preparing every detail necessary to accomplish Your will in our lives. Amen.

About this Plan
Esther is an incredible story that reminds us God is always working. From this story, we learn there is no such thing as "coincidence." Though God may seem distant, even absent at times, He is present. God is always with us and at work in our lives, just like He was in Esther's so many years ago.
