The Good LifeSample
Big feelings can be difficult to deal with. Anger, frustration, rage—those are pretty big feelings. They’re the kinds of feelings that cause you to lose your temper, say things you don’t mean, and struggle to move on. The next time you find yourself facing big feelings, remember this Proverb. When you’re tempted to give into big feelings that tell you to be harsh or angry, choose gentleness and kindness instead. When you do, you’ll find those big feelings tempting you toward harshness may not be as powerful as you thought. Memorize this verse to help you remember the way a gentle answer can change a situation for the better.
