Life According To Jim - Lessons From Jesus' Brother, JamesSample
In today’s readings, James challenges us to get to work—to put all that we have been learning into action. James urges us that that if we see someone who needs clothing or is hungry to do something about it - not just wish them well, but to act.
James gives us two Old Testament examples in Abraham and Rahab. Both had faith and had the opportunity to display it through courageous obedience. When both were called to see if they would put God first over everything, they responded with obedience.
Let’s be challenged today to live out our faith through everything we do.

About this Plan
No one reads the book of James and thinks, “So what does that have to do with me?” Unlike many of the New Testament letters that were written to one specific church, James is writing instructions to Christians all over. During this 14-day plan, we will be challenged and encouraged by the book of James’ practical and timely message.
