Day 24

Not all things that happen in life are good.
Our life is made up of good times and bad times, it is the reality of human life on Earth. Acknowledge the bad times, and the pain and strife. God provides us these experiences to seek Him, to grow closer to His heart of love and comfort, and to teach us to humbly depend solemnly on Him, Ecclesiastes 7:2 AMP.

Which bad experiences have you gone through that have drawn you closer to our loving God?

Choose to prepare for the next season. Rather than becoming bitter about the hardships faced, decide to become better. 

There is a time to give up Ecclesiastes 3:6 AMP  

When God wills us to give up, He asks for a surrender of our will. 

There are times when it is better and wiser to risk the loss of all we have rather than to set our minds on acquiring what God has not willed for us. 

This lesson is also found in our Lord’s paradox about losing our life in order to find it, Matthew 16:25 AMP. 

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you if there are things or people you have to let go of right now.

Loss, too, is sometimes gain, Jesus had to die and go back to heaven in order to send us the comforter, His Holy Spirit! John 16:7 AMP

There are things that God will ask us to surrender in life that we will never fully understand or see the value of until we see God face to face.
