NEW LEVELS - GROWING IN GOD/HUNGER

Imagine if your relationship with God had ALLof your focus and attention! Where would you be at and what could be happening in your life? Just because God has got great plans for you doesn’t mean you should just sit back and chill. You have got to step up and take it! I don’t know about you, but I want new levels in my faith, in my closeness with God, in what He does in and through my life… in everything! A major key in all of this - is hunger!

There is power in wanting something. That’s how God designed us - to be able to desire things and go after them. We’re not supposed to be indifferent and have a, “whatever,” attitude, that honestly gets us nowhere in life. We have to decide what it is that we want and go after it! So let me ask you… What do you really want in God? What are you hungry enough to pursue and go after?

In the natural - if you don’t eat you will get hungry. But if you keep ignoring the hunger, your appetite will eventually shrink. On the other hand, if you eat a lot and use up the energy, your appetite grows and you stay hungry for more. AND THERE IT IS FAM… THERE’S THE KEY!! The key to staying hungry is to keep feeding and to keep using the energy that the food provides! Putting Jesus over everything and living a life of worship is about growing your appetite for the things of God! The less you feed on Him, the quieter the voice of hunger will become and the less ‘energy’ you will have to live for Him. BUT, the more you get of Him, the more your hunger will grow! Reading the Word, getting planted in church and spending time praying and worshipping are some great ways to stir your appetite for more of Him. Jesus deserves us seeking Him with all of our heart, and He promises to provide for us when He make Him the first priority of our lives!
