Love God Greatly: To Do Justice, To Love Kindness, To Walk HumblySample
After all that we've seen in Micah, after all the judgment, all the sin and the introspection it has made us do, our hearts find comfort in today's words. Everything may be falling down around me, but I can wait for the Lord of my salvation. He will hear me. He sees me. He is my rock, my fortress, my refuge. He is mighty to save and loves me with an everlasting love.
Psalm 62:1-2 says, “For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.” David knew the only thing he needed to survive and thrive was God and His powerful love and care. I may be shaken by the world, but I won't be “greatly shaken.”
I can face my life without fear because God is with me. As Christians, we know trials will come. We know we‘re going to experience a lot of different things that will try to tear us down. But we also know that we have a powerful God who fights for us and hears our cries for help.
Lord, I praise You for Your all-sufficiency—that You are enough for my heart, my life, my joy. I thank You because You hear me every time I cry out to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan
We are surrounded by injustice and pain. We see it not only in our world but also in our own lives and it can be disheartening and overwhelming. But we are not without hope. This is what Micah is all about. He is not afraid to get in our face about some hard topics like sin and judgement.
