 A new world

Dr Martin Luther King Jr made the following statement:

"We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we do that, we will make of this old world a new world, for love is the only way." 

It could seem like an impossible task to address the PAIN of our world. Yet there's power in love.  Ultimately, the source of love is God Himself: the source of all of our lives. 

God does not call us to address every need or all PAIN, but calls us to do our part. In Philippians, Paul makes the following statement about Timothy:

“For I have no one like him, who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare. For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 2:20-21 ESV)

Proverbs 11:11 MSG “When right-living people bless the city, it flourishes;”

We can change our cities …

One life at a time. 

One need at a time. 

Love is the only way.  Love revives a tired world.

Ask God to increase your capacity to love.
