Wisdom - The Big Picture

Our idea (that thing God has called us to do in business) exists deep in our heart, and it is our job to fish it out. We fish it out by listening to the Holy Spirit, and letting the peace of God guide us.

Search your heart and pull out the thing which comes naturally to you. After you see it, most likely God will take you through what I call an Idea Progression. An Idea Progression is the process by which your gifting is transformed into a business. The first step of the Idea Progression is wisdom.

An idea from God starts as the big picture to do something. This big picture is the wisdom of God. 

For example, God could say to you, "Go start a car repair business". In this big picture there are no real details, just a direction to go in. Just like when God founded the earth in Genesis 1:1, he started with a high-level concept and the details followed later. The earth was just a container for what was to come. 

When God gives you wisdom in this first step, He is giving you a container for your calling to come.

Today, ask God for the big picture (Wisdom) of your business idea. Tomorrow, we will look at the second step in going from idea to launch.
