 Stand Back

In Exodus 14 God has delivered the people of Israel from Egypt with Moses as their leader. As soon as they leave they find themselves standing in front of the Red Sea unable to cross with Pharaoh’s army closing in behind them. Moses pleads with God to do something. In v.13 God tells Moses to stand still while God does the work. 

So many times we think it’s up to us to make something happen! It’s not up to us. It’s up to God! So today, just stand back and watch God work! He is more than capable to take care of you, your friends, and your circumstances. Just stand back and let God work. 

Challenge:

This is not a call to do nothing. It is a call to get out of the way. Stop trying to fix everything and surrender it to God. Make a list of 5 things that are beyond your control where you need God to intervene. Pray over this list every day and stand back and watch God work!
