《当代译本》圣经采用的是语意对等的翻译原则，语言通俗易懂，既保留了《活泼圣经》的可读性，又尽可能在汉语允许的情况下译出原文圣经的语言结构和特点。本译本的主要对象是教会内和教会外的青少年、慕道友和非信徒。上次修订在2011年完成，主要修订了《活泼圣经》的一些翻译问题和不足之处。本次修订以过去十年读者们的回馈为基础，力求在准确性、一致性和语言风格方面进一步提高译文水准。 国际圣经协会-Biblica透过圣经翻译、圣经出版和圣经推广向世界供应上帝的话语，事工遍及非洲、亚太、欧洲、拉美、中东、北美和南亚。国际圣经协会在全球范围帮助人们读到上帝的话语，好让他们的生命因遇见耶稣而改变。 The CCB is primarily a thought-for-thought idiomatic translation in standard Chinese, which retains the readability of Living Bible style while at the same time reflects the particular features of the original languages wherever suitable. Its intended audience is the younger generation both in the church and outside of the church. CCB’s last major revision was done 2011, which mainly smoothed out the issues and loopholes of Living Bible. This revision is aimed at further improving it in terms of accuracy, consistency and style based on the feedback collected over the last 10 years.
