Colossians 3:23
Colossians 3:23 American Standard Version (ASV)
whatsoever ye do, work heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men
Colossians 3:23 New International Version (NIV)
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters
Colossians 3:22-25 The Message (MSG)
Servants, do what you’re told by your earthly masters. And don’t just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you’ll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you’re serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn’t cover up bad work.
Colossians 3:23 King James Version (KJV)
and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men
Colossians 3:23 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men
Colossians 3:23 New Century Version (NCV)
In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were doing it for the Lord, not for people.
Colossians 3:23 New King James Version (NKJV)
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men
Colossians 3:23 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men
Colossians 3:23 New Living Translation (NLT)
Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
Colossians 3:23 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others.
