Good Morning Girls - Easterနမူနာ

As Christ hung on the cross to die, He was accompanied by two criminals, hung on either side of Him. One mocks Him while the other one believes and asks to be remembered when Jesus is in heaven. Jesus gives this new believer the most precious gift ever. He tells him that this very day he will be in paradise with Him.

What comfort that must have been despite the horrendous amount of physical suffering the criminal was experiencing. He knew that it would be but for a moment and then there would be peace. Eternal peace accompanied by unspeakable joy because he would be with his Savior forever. We have this same promise. No matter what suffering we experience here on earth, it will end and then we will experience an eternity of peace and joy.
