Can you see it? Can you feel it? You are a warrior! As a Christian, you are on the winning team. That doesn’t mean it’s easy. In fact, it is excruciatingly hard. The more you embrace your power, the bigger the battles.

The U.S. Armed Forces are a great example of this. They often get the most dangerous, impossible, and hidden missions. The public rarely hears about their valor and victories. However, the actions of these elite warriors save countless lives and even redirect history. Everyone has a vital role. Just like the military, it is how you train and what you are willing to sacrifice that determines what role you fill in the story.

The enemy will take your reading of this personally. Satan will try and convince you that this is sensationalized writing. That’s what your enemy does. He causes you to question, doubt, marginalize, excuse, disengage, and downplay the powerful role that God intends for you. I have been there and still fight that fight today. The enemy is cunning.

You must reject the enemy! Our Father has given you the power, as an heir to the Kingdom through Jesus Christ, to fight and be victorious over the plans and attacks of the enemy!

I know this seems like the script of a sci-fi movie. It’s easy to read, get excited, and then sit back and say that it can’t be real. Don’t give in to resignation! That’s the enemy! It is real. And you are powerful. And you have a role. Believe that you are a son/daughter of the Creator of the Universe. Oh, the stories we will tell and hear one day. The battles we fought. The wounds we received. The scars we carried. The victories we were given. It will be a fantastic celebration in heaven. And you will hear your Father say, “WELL DONE, MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. Now rest, the battle is won. You are my child. Let’s enjoy eternity together.” This is our great hope!
