To hear this audio, visit your plan at www.bible.com] Have you ever met someone who you thought had great faith? You might think, “Wow, I wish I could be like them!” Well, you can be. And you will get there the same way they did: one step at a time. Everyone wrestles with living by faith at some point, but 1 Thessalonians 5:24 reminds us that it’s not about us - it’s about God. He is faithful and able to do what He has promised. Pastor Crawford Loritts gives us some great insight into the faith journey of Abraham*, a leader from the Old Testament. Think of people you know with great faith and ask them to share a verse or two that helps them stay focused on God’s promises. Then read Hebrews 10:22-24. Take a moment to commit verse 23 to memory. The next time you are struggling to believe God and walk by faith, you’ll be able to recall it! *Abraham demonstrated great faith by leaving his home to resettle in a new land. He also believed that God would fulfill the promise to make him the father of many nations, even when he still had no children when he and his wife were nearly 100 years old.
