Pray:

Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.

Read: 2 Peter 1:1-21

Reflect

Mission ready means to always be prepared and ready to execute. We define the mission, we study it, we create strategy to accomplish it, we train for it and we focus on it. In essence, we live, eat and breathe it for the prolonged period we’re assigned. We cannot lose focus, otherwise we could fail in the mission. In what ways does Peter say we need to continue to grow? What will keep us from failing in our mission? How prepared am I to follow my Commander?
