The Letters - Galatians | Colossians | Titus | PhilemonSampel
Paul wrote this letter to the Colossians during his first imprisonment in Rome, approximately 60 AD. This letter is Paul seeking to combat ‘Colossian heresy’ and false teachings overtaking the Colossian church. Paul sought to teach them that, as believers, everything they need is found in Christ and what that means for our salvation.
Colossians offers us timeless truths; we can gain a fresh appreciation for Christ as the fullness of God and the only source for living the Christian life.
